Gdańsk University of Technology informs that the contractor, Towarzystwo Inwestycyjne CONSTRUCTION Sp. z o. o. with its seat in Gdańsk at ul. Bitwy Oliwskiej 22 completed construction works related to the task "Extension and renovation of the Forge building" for teaching and research purposes of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology located in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz at ul. G. Narutowicza 11/12

Technical characteristics of the facility:

 area approx. 980 m²

 volume approx. 4000 m³

The implementation of the task included the adaptation and renovation of the historic Forge building and its extension by a new part intended for laboratories of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering .

The scope of works included, among others : earthworks, foundations, insulation works, steel structures of walls and roof, installation of window and door joinery, repair and renovation of the brick facade of the historic part of the building, road works, electrical and telecommunication installations, central heating, water and sewage systems, as well as execution of a mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation.

The above-mentioned works were performed for a total value of PLN 4,065,019.86, from May 2008 until April 2009.

The works were performed within the contractual period in accordance with the design documentation, building permit conditions and the Orderer's requirements. Cooperation with the contractor was correct, and the commissioned work was performed with due diligence.

We evaluate Towarzystwo Inwestycyjne CONSTRUCTION Sp. z o. o. from Gdańsk as a reliable contractor, well-prepared in terms of staff and equipment to carry out similar construction works.
